Does It Have A Law-minous Nose?

Work is stressful today, but even on bad days the law gives me little gifts. Like discovering that there exists a case called The Dong (citation: [1979] 1 MLJ 152).

(Apologies to any Edward Lear fans reeling in agony at the punniness of this entry’s title. I’m too tired to think of anything remotely witty.)

  1. Hello Michelle

I bear glad tidings and intend to hi-jack this thread and go way off topic.

    two films:

The Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy -i believe the full trailer for which will be available for this tomorrow

and “The Watchmen” have a website: where you can subscribe to a newsletter or something i think the address is thewatchmenmovie.com

i didn’t mean this to sound like an ad. but i think you might be interested.

i don’t know if have read the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy but if not don’t panic, just get a copy before the world is demolished because of a beaurocratic mix up and you should be ok.

    BLH

  2. Hi Brian,

I’m not a fan of the hitchhikers guide but I hope it turns out well for all yee die hard fans, even if yee all roll your eyes at me as I profess my lack of enthusiasm. What did you think of the trailer?

And what’s The Watchman? Is it a cult graphic novel?

  3. Alec: Watchmen is on my bedside shelf right now! I’m sure I’ve mentioned it to you before, especially after The Incredibles.

  4. Hi alec & Michelle,

I think the hitchhikers guide etc. will be quite good, going by the trailer that is and a trailer always gives an accurate impression of the quality of a movie, doesn’t it (at least thats what the cover of my fav. film appreciation book says)

Its got yer man “Tim” from the Office so if it doesn’t win a rake of Oscars i will be resigning my position in the academy (first Titanic and now this)

Alec you should read the watchmen, its really good! or you could go outside and enjoy your girlfriends company, what ever!!
